Trilby Station, 20km downstream from Louth, is a 5th generation working sheep station steeped in pastoral history. Set on the banks of the majestic Darling River, Trilby Station has its origins as part of Dunlop Station the site of the first mechanised shearing shed in Australia in the 1880's; a controversial implimentation made possible by the Wolseley shearing machines.
