‘... So Far ...’ a photographic exhibition by Simon Bayliss

@ The Global Gallery (Paddington, Sydney) as part of the Head On Photo Festival

 ( a timeframe, a distance, a journey's progress, and validated opinion)

Opening Wed’ May 26th, 6 – 8 pm continuing till Sunday June 6th - Afternoon drinks with the artists Saturday June 5th from 2pm

Exhibition Brief: Simon enjoys the challenge of photographing a diverse range of subjects and feels one benefits from ‘specializing in diversity’ by not adhering to one genre but seeking challenges from which to learn and then apply that to the creative path of development. For this exhibition, Simon ties two extremes of subject matter Paris scenes and Outback Australia, as a reflection of his two greatest influences.

Simon has always had a connection to the land and feels most spiritually and creatively grounded in the outback and incongruously he feels the same when he revisits the city that first put him back on his creative path, Paris. The photography for this exhibition is produced via a Durst Lambda large format printer. All photographs are dry-mounted, matted and framed and are available as Limited Edition (20 Only)
